Bad Service At Fast Food "Restaurants" Result In Messes Being Left Behind

I have long been disenchanted with fast food "restaurants".

It seems next to impossible to get anything special ordered at a drive through to come out as it was requested. The chance of getting it right when you walk in and get it to go isn't much better.

The trifecta is that it's a safe bet orders will come out wrong more often than not when you special order eating in.

I can write posts from now through 2009 detailing experiences of bad "service" at fast food "restaurants". Experience speaking to supervisors, managers and owners would account for just as many horror stories.

There are times, unfortunately, when circumstances necessitate eating anywhere other than fast food "restaurants". Recently, I reached my breaking point with frustration about bad service at these places.

Now, when I get food that is not as I ordered it, worse when I get bad service, I make a mess in the restaurant. The worse the service, the worse the mess.

I've taken hands full of napkins, torn them up while I ate and either left them lying on the table or thrown them on the floor. If there's a ketchup dispenser, I open the spout and let the ketchup run on the counter; if they give ketchup packets I put theme on the floor and stamp on them with my foot; I open packages of sugar and spread it on top of the table; I spill soft drinks on the counter, on the floor and in the seat of the booth when I get up to leave.

The other thing I do is to waste things like coffee stirrers, lids, forks/knives/spoons, salt and pepper packets and anything else that's available to take.

When I leave I drop a business card on the table informing management that the mess was left equating with the level of customer service I received. Thus far I haven't received a follow-up call or email.
